Family-Owned Since 1994
Heartland Windows opened its doors in 1994 in Aplington, Iowa as a small family-owned business and quickly became a dominant force in the Midwestern window market.
A Window and Door manufacturer specializing in vinyl windows and doors, Heartland has become renowned for its advanced product engineering and state-of-the-art production thanks to a very simple philosophy: sell quality and craftsmanship, not price and false promises.
We have internally developed several proprietary locking technologies and utilize state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to produce an extensive line of high-quality windows and doors. Our products are certified by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) and meet ENERGY STAR standards, reflecting our commitment to quality, performance, and energy efficiency. These certifications and endorsements are achieved through rigorous attention to detail at every stage of the manufacturing process, from design and engineering to production and quality control.
From linear profiles to hardware, and our partnership with the premier glass manufacturer in the world – Cardinal IG, Heartland uses only the highest quality components available in America.
In 2026 we embarked on a major company rebranding an expansion effort. We purchased new machinery adding to our lineup of some of the most advanced machinery in the market. We also rebranded our marketing efforts, website, brochures and added an online ordering portal. We are starting on our building remodel and expansion adding to our 80,000 SF production facility on 15 Acres in the middle of Iowa.
